Wenlong Huang

Wenlong Huang, born in China in 1992, began playing violin at age 6. He enrolled at the music middle school affiliated with the Shanghai Conservatory in 2005 as viola major and studied with Li Sheng. Wenlong began his studies at the Bard College Conservatory of Music in 2011 where hisprimary teacher is Steven Tenenbom. His second major at Bard College is German Studies. After this, Wenlong enrolled in Rice University and studied with James Dunham for his Master degree in 2016. Wenlong has participated in many summer music festivals including Verbier music festival in Switzerland in 2012, Pacific music festival in Japan in 2013 and 2016, Music Academy of the
West, and Aspen music festival. Wenlong currently is a full time violist in Charlotte symphony orchestra.
